A brief catch-up from Shap

A brief catch-up from Shap

Back in Shap the winter is a windy one. I can hardly complain as I’ve missed 11 named storms. Fortunately I’ve got an electric hook-up from the friends that I’m parked up at, as there isn’t much sun around for the panels.

Roja’s cousin, Mac, is very pleased I’m back around. He was restricted in his outdoor activity back in September due to some arthritis, but is back on form now.

I’m just off the back of a double birthday celebration weekend with Six Nations rugby action, so a calmer week ahead will be appreciated. It will give me the chance to get a few jobs done on the van, and a spring clean.

I’ve a full service and MOT booked on 21st February, so will plan to get off somewhere after that.

Quote of the Week

Alice asked the Cheshire Cat, who was sitting in a tree, ‘What road do I take?’ The cat asked, ‘Where do you want to go?’ ‘I don’t know,’ Alice answered. ‘Then,’ said the cat, ‘it really doesn’t matter, does it?’
