supera superiora sequi is a latin motto that a friend got translated for me in 1995. He asked his old Latin teacher, 95 years old at the time, for the translation. Its a profound meaning of ‘always looking for a higher place’, literally when on the hill, as well as in life more widely. Since 1995 these words have appeared on each course description and T-shirt.

The monicker is taken from Ernest Shackleton’s advertisement in the Times on 29th December, 1913.

Quote of the Week

Alice asked the Cheshire Cat, who was sitting in a tree, ‘What road do I take?’ The cat asked, ‘Where do you want to go?’ ‘I don’t know,’ Alice answered. ‘Then,’ said the cat, ‘it really doesn’t matter, does it?’
