Day 10 – At Kilchoan, Ardnamurchan

Day 10 – At Kilchoan, Ardnamurchan

Wonderful spot here on the beach at the Sound of Mull, looking out at the short ferry crossing to Tobermory, with the added bonus of the odd seal playing on the rocks. The longer ferry to the Isle of Coll has been off for a couple of days due to the northerly wind, which has brought the wintry showers and icy wind also.

This morning was the best part of the day weather wise, with no showers, and clear skies. We headed out to Sanna Bay, the dog’s first beach since his stay on the Wirral, and he thoroughly enjoys tearing around the sand and swimming in the surf.

The snow and hail returned in the afternoon, with showers frequent enough to retreat to the van for the night quite early.

Quote of the Week

Alice asked the Cheshire Cat, who was sitting in a tree, ‘What road do I take?’ The cat asked, ‘Where do you want to go?’ ‘I don’t know,’ Alice answered. ‘Then,’ said the cat, ‘it really doesn’t matter, does it?’
