Days 66, 67 & 68 – at Beirã

It’s a very pleasant place to relax here, amongst the eucalyptus trees in these gentle rocky hills with the silhouette of Marvao castle on the largest of the hills in the near distance.

We’ve exhausted the walking in the area, as there isn’t much. It’s one if those national parks with very little access, dominated by farmland.

I’ve caught up on some reading, with the stand outs being Willeford’s Pick Up and Jacobsen’s The Burnt Out Town of Miracles, and enjoyed the T20 World Cup semis.

And those annoying injuries have had a chance to heal..

Quote of the Week

Alice asked the Cheshire Cat, who was sitting in a tree, ‘What road do I take?’ The cat asked, ‘Where do you want to go?’ ‘I don’t know,’ Alice answered. ‘Then,’ said the cat, ‘it really doesn’t matter, does it?’
